IODA'2008 Scholarships
A very limited number of scholarships will be available for IODA2008. To qualify, you must be a registered member of IODA. Preference will however be given to needy OD students and practitioners, prospective delegates from the HCOC of India, the host of IODA'2009 and such other persons as the Scholarships Committee will determine.
The scholarship granted may fully or partially cover conference registration fee and accommodation costs at the conference venue for the duration of conference only. Scholarship recipients will be responsible for their visa and travel costs from their countries of residence to Accra, Ghana (including any visa-on-arrival costs). IODA2008 Conference Secretariat can provide you with a letter of invitation in order to support your visa application; however, this letter would not be a confirmation that you have received a scholarship award.
A limited number of scholarships may also be awarded to cover IODA membership registration for year 2008 only.

Please submit your Scholarship Application in either MSWord or a compatible Open Source format using the downloadable template available on the conference website www.iodaghana.net ==========>>>> |

Please complete the Scholarship Application form and submit to the Conference Secretariat at iodaghana@myzipnet.com by March 15, 2008. Please ensure that you include the name and contact details of ONE referee who must be a current IODA member with your application. Also inform the said Referee to submit a letter of reference on your behalf directly to the Scholarship Reference Desk of the Conference Secretariat at iodaghana@myzipnet.com
All applications would be reviewed by the Scholarships Committee. The decision of the Scholarship Committee shall be final. However it is noted that all scholarship receipients are responsible for ensuring their participation in the IODA 2008 Conference.
SCHOLARSHIPS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE AND HAVE NO MONETARY VALUE IF NOT UTILISED FOR THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH THEY ARE GRANTED.
