Delegate Accommodation
The Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) (named after the illustrious son of Ghana, Busumuru Kofi Annan, the immediate past Secretary-General of the United Nations) will be the venue for IODA 2008.
The KAIPTC has 70 rooms for delegates requiring accommodation with en-suite shower and WC, telephone facilities with personalized direct-dial numbers, well equipped gym and other outdoor games with on-site trainers. The Delegate Rooms at the KAIPTC would be available from Sunday, July 27, 2008 through Friday, July 31, 2008 (both days inclusive)
Accommodation would be reserved on a first-come-first served basis for confirmed delegates upon receipt of their payment. Delegates will be informed about their accommodation reservation status as and when their registration payments are received.
Refunds in respect of the accommodation component will be made (less bank handling charges) to all paying delegates whose funds are received after all rooms at KAIPTC have been taken. A service charge of one night will be charged for all other cancellations. So please, register as soon as possible.
Please submit your Delegate Accomodation Form together with your Conference Registration form to the Secretariat (iodaghana@myzipnet.com) by close of business midnight GMT on March 28, 2008 to qualify for the Early Registration Rates.

Off-Venue Accommodation
Delegates arriving in Ghana prior to July 27, 2008 and those who will be spending some time in Ghana after the conference may require to make appropriate hotel/lodging arrangements in any hotel of their choice.
For delegates wishing to stay off-site from the conference venue as well as those who are unable to obtain one of the 70 rooms at the KAIPTC, additional rooms will also be available at the nearby Labadi Beach Hotel and the La Palm Royal Hotel as well as the underlisted hotels.
The additional accommodation in a number of hotels within easy reach of the conference venue may be booked directly by delegates or through our appointed Reservations Agency, MBA Central Hotel Reservations. A shuttle service will be operated daily from these conference hotels.
